Published July 2015

Clarabelle is on a mission! With the children now at school, it’s high time that ‘her Sarah’ focused! Enter ‘Cassie’ the cat (much to Fred’s disgust), here to help Sarah become the ‘Best Tarot and Angel Card Reader’ this side of Mars … Can Sarah do what Clarabelle needs her to do? And can she do it in time?

Frieda has a secret … a dark, foreboding, sinister secret … and it is only Sarah who can unlock it … Can she help Frieda find the peace that she has never known, or is she jeopardising a friendship that has lasted for nearly forty years?

In this sequel – the third in the ‘Angel’ series – it is time for Sarah to move to the next level. Can she cope with the pressure … or with what she discovers!

Pain and trauma … secrets and lies – no one knows what she’s been through, and Frieda’s determined to keep it that way! With such resistance, can Sarah repair a broken spirit and bring a happy ending, even with Clarabelle and Cassie’s help? Clarabelle thinks so, but only Frieda can be the one to determine that!

Reviews

“From start to finish, Angel in My Fingers (Frieda’s Story) — the third book in the “Angel” series — is a masterpiece of storytelling by award-winning author, Julie Poole. More new characters, more new angels and even lessons in Tarot and Angel card readings; and of course a surprise ending. SMASHING! A+++++”

“I have learned so much from this book! Incredible!”

“I just had to write and say how much I loved your latest book Angel in My Fingers. Just like your other two books I just couldn’t put it down. I was so caught up in your story that I even cried. You have such an amazing talent with words. I look forward to reading more wonderful books by you in the future. Love Tina xx”

“Brilliant! Well, Julie Poole has done it again! Angel in my Fingers is as gripping as her previous two books. In this one we see more Angels in the mix, and the addition of a cat into the family, much to the chagrin of Fred the dog, makes hilarious reading. This book reveals Frieda’s secret which is dealt with with compassion and great understanding. We also get to learn how to read Tarot and Angel cards. The growing children are a great source of amusement too, anyone with young children will relate to their antics. A wonderful twist at the end! A fabulous read from start to finish.”

“I really enjoyed this book, I don’t want to give too much away, it’s one to discover yourself for sure. With more angels in the mix and poor Fred having to contend with a feline addition to the family it is very funny. Clarabelle’s character is even more developed in this title, we also learn about Frieda’s secret, which is very sensitively written. The children are growing up and with that comes all the antics and issues of having a young family. Any parent reading this will definitely relate! The progression of all the characters is very good and easy to follow over the three books in the series so far. The twist was great and I was pleased to find out more about tarot readings, I think that was a great touch. Once again an enjoyable book from start to finish. A great holiday read. It gets 4**** stars from me.” Reviewed By Vivienne.

“Fantastic! I absolutely loved the latest “Angel” book by Julie Poole. Just like her two other books I just couldn’t put it down. You get so caught up in the wonderful story that you really feel for the characters in the book.”

“Julie Poole is a wonderful author and she has outdone herself [again] with the 3rd book in her Angel series, Angel in My Fingers (Frieda’s Story). WOW. Hard to write a review and not give away the whole story, but if you’ve read her first two books, Angel on My Shoulder (Sarah’s Story) and Angel in My Heart (Clarabelle’s Story), then you can expect to see more angels and more fun, as well as a climactic ending in Frieda’s Story. In this playful, and easy to read story, you’ll meet Cassie, the beautiful C.A.T., who joins the adventure and Sarah’s family for some hilarious times taunting Fred. She also has her own special ‘assignments’ teaching Sarah about tarot cards and angel readings. One of Sarah’s best friends, Frieda, has some scary secrets from her past . . . and after burying them all these years, Sarah has her hands full trying to help her friend work through the painful memories. Of course, Clarabelle and some new Guardian Angels you’ll meet in this book will all be on hand (on wing?) to help sort the mess, as they always do. But getting Frieda to admit to, and break free from, the sorrow in her life won’t be an easy task, even if all the angels in the Realm came down from Upstairs to help. Another page-turner, you won’t be able to put this book down until you’ve reached the exciting, smashing conclusion. It’s a brill job and amazing how Julie Poole weaves the details and events from Sarah and Clarabelle’s Stories to come together in Frieda’s Story. I can’t wait to see what will be coming up next in the Angel series, and once you read this book, you won’t be able to wait either!”

“Just when I thought you couldn’t improve on your first two books, you’ve just blown me away with Angel in my Fingers. I found your storyline about Frieda so very touching and moving. I loved the addition of new characters and Angels being part of Sarah’s family made it all the more enjoyable. tissues at the ready for plenty of fun, laughter and tears. It was beautifully written and I was engrossed from beginning to the end. The twist at the end so very, very clever that it took me by surprise. Thank you Julie I can’t wait for more Angel books.”

“Oh my, what a book! The twins are growing and along comes the mysterious Casandra (Cassie ) mangy moggy known by Fred the dog. This book is both funny, and at the same time will pull at your heart strings, you need yet another box of tissues! When you finished reading this book it will leave you wanting more!! Well done Miss Poole.”
